I’ve thought long and hard about making this post, but I really need to say it: please don’t reach out to book a shoot unless you’re truly serious. Lately I’ve had so many people schedule appointments only to cancel or completely ghost me right before their session — over 10+ people recently.
Owning a small business is hard, and these last-minute cancellations take a huge toll. I’ve been very lenient with deposits, but starting now, a deposit is 100% required to book. I understand life happens, but I also have to protect my time and the work I put into every session.
I also want to kindly ask that you look through my page before booking to make sure my style matches what you’re wanting. I’ve had people book and then ask to see examples afterwards, and it puts me in a tough spot.
I put so much time, planning, and effort into every appointment — it’s not as simple as giving you a location and snapping a few photos.
Sorry for the early morning rant, but this needed to be said. Thank you to everyone who supports me, respects my time, and values my work. ❤️📸
