Most of my couples spend about 15–30 minutes with me for portraits and then get right back to celebrating.
One thing I hear all the time is, “We want golden hour photos, but we don’t want to miss our reception!”
The key is having a plan and a proper timeline that allows for golden hour. I always ask my couples if golden hour is a priority before building a timeline, and if it is, I will be sure to build it in properly.
Want to keep it quick? Okay sure! If there are any must have shots, we’ll prioritize those first. Then I’ll guide you through a few of my favorite prompts and poses, and before you know it, we’re heading back to the party.
I’ve never had a couple tell me they regretted sneaking away for a few evening portraits, especially when that golden hour light shows up. ✨
If you want to make time for golden hour portraits, we can set aside as little as 15 minutes or as much as 30. We’ll build it into your timeline in a way that lets you enjoy both, beautiful sunset photos and plenty of time celebrating with your favorite people.
