As the photographer behind RainySky Photography, I’m usually the one behind the camera, capturing everyone else’s milestones. This time, I chose to step in front of it.

Turning 30 felt like the perfect time to celebrate not only where I’ve been, but who I’m becoming. These photos are more than portraits—they’re a reminder to love myself, give myself grace, and see the beauty in the woman I am today.

This session was healing, empowering, and something I didn’t realize I needed so deeply.

And if there’s one thing I hope other women take from this, it’s this: Do the photos.

Take the pictures. Wear the dress. Celebrate the milestone. Stop waiting for the perfect weight, the perfect season, or the perfect moment. You deserve to exist in photographs and be remembered in every season of life.

As women, we spend so much time behind the scenes caring for everyone else that we forget we deserve to be seen too.
