Because COME ONNNN. šŸ˜

Danielle absolutely brought the heat to this sessionā€”and Mother Nature clearly understood the assignment too. Fire, water, that sunset, and one incredibly talented woman doing what she loves.

The deeper we got into this session, the more creative we gotā€¦ and these might be some of my favorites yet.

This is exactly why I love stepping outside the box and creating something that feels a little unexpected, a little badass, and completely unique to the person in front of my camera.

Sometimes a session comes together and you just KNOW you created something special.

Last night I had the opportunity to photograph Danielle, a professional fire dancer, and holy hell did she bring the šŸ”„ ā€” literally.

We took her fire fans to the waterā€™s edge, chased the evening light, played with movement, silhouettes, reflections, and fireā€¦ and created something completely different from my everyday work.

This is one of the things I love most about photographyā€”getting an idea in my head and watching it come to life even better than I imagined.

Danielle absolutely KILLED it. šŸ”„

Tonightā€™s session with Danielle was absolutely OFF. THE. RAILS. šŸ”„

Professional fire dancer + water + one hell of a Minnesota sunset = PURE MAGIC.

The way the sunset hit the water, the fire reflected around her, and Danielle completely owned every damn secondā€¦ šŸ¤ŒšŸ”„

Powerful. Fearless. Feminine.
And completely in her element.

Such a great afternoon connecting with some amazing women!

It was wonderful networking over lunch at Womenā€™s Connect today. Great conversation, delicious food, and a room full of inspiring women entrepreneurs and business leaders. šŸ’•

I always love opportunities like this to connect, share ideas, support one another, and build genuine relationships within our community. Thereā€™s something pretty special about women cheering on other women.

And of course, Lolaā€™s Lakehouse was the perfect backdropā€”beautiful ambiance and delicious food as always!

Somewhere along the way, I stopped chasing the idea of a ā€œperfectā€ life.

I donā€™t need every plan to work out. I donā€™t need everything to make sense.

What I do need is slow mornings with coffee, conversations that fill my soul, spontaneous adventures, people who love me exactly as I am, and the courage to keep choosing joy.

The older I get, the more I realize that happiness isnā€™t found in perfectionā€”itā€™s found in the little moments that make life beautiful.

Hereā€™s to protecting your peace, finding your people, and creating a life that feels good on the insideā€¦ because thatā€™s what truly matters. ā¤ļø
