Sometimes birth takes hours... and sometimes it happens in what feels like a breath. Fast, emotional, and absolutely full of love.

This beautiful momma moved through her labor with such calm strength - and before we knew it, baby was here!

These births always remind me just how strong and instinctive a woman's body is. Every time I'm reminded what a privilege it is to document these once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Wow, my first full year of photography has been such an incredible experience. I'm deeply honored to have had the opportunity to capture so many meaningful moments. I can never fully express my gratitude to everyone who trusted me, took a chance on me, and allowed me to grow, learn, and improve. I pray that God continues to bring blessings to me and my family, as well as all of yours, in this coming year. Attending this birth was something my best friend and I had talked about for years. Never did I imagine I would be photographing it too. πŸ₯Ή Watching my best friend become a mother has been one of the most beautiful seasons of our almost 20-year friendship. She rocked her labor and delivery with such wonderful support from her husband the entire time. I'm so proud and not at all surprised at how well motherhood suits her. 🩷
