“I had done bo***ir in the past to look the way I thought men wanted me to, and did these not planning for anyone to see them but me. However, they are hands down my very favorite shoot to date!

I actually forgot I was not wearing clothes about 5 minutes into the shoot. It’s not like any other photo shoot I’ve ever done. It was really vulnerable, and empowering, and scary to show up, and so so worth it to do.

I am floored by the depth in which these photos tell not just a story, but my story.”

I didn’t arrive here by accident.
Every version of me
the soft one, the wild one, the tired one, the rising again one
brought me closer to this woman.
And somewhere along the way
I made a promise
not to leave myself behind
just because the years kept moving forward.
So here I am.
Still choosing me.
Still becoming.
Still here.
Getting older has nothing to do with disappearing.
If anything, it’s the art of staying.
Staying with yourself.
Staying in your truth.
Staying soft, wild, and fully alive in your own skin.

“Since turning 40, I’ve really felt a rebirth of self. At the beginning of this year, I set an intention of doing something bold, something to celebrate my body and everything it’s accomplished - from birthing little humans to becoming a stronger person, in body and in spirit. I want to look back on these images and remember this time in my life. I spend a majority of my waking hours with a thousand tabs open in my head and a family and household to take care of, but during the shoot, and the lingering effects after, it’s just about me and my needs and desires.”
