Thank you to everyone who joined me yesterday for our bo***ir marathon at Studios on East Main
After my dear friends announced that they were not renewing their lease after July, I wanted to end my time with Studios on East Main with a bang, and all of my girls definitely brought the heat and glam yesterday!
SOEM has been like a second home to me and I spent a lot of time reflecting about the many, many memories we have captured there. Owning a studio and allowing other creatives to rent the space is no easy feat. It’s all bittersweet. I am so grateful that my dear friends will have more time with their families and to focus on their own businesses.
I am taking a note from their book and I’m going to focus on me and my family for the rest of the month of July. I miss my boys, I want to work on my books, and spend time with my pony.
I am grateful for this busy life. I am blessed with incredible clients who trust me to capture their most precious memories.
But I need a reset before wedding season. From August through mid November, I’ll be playing the weekend warrior game and capturing so many beautiful couples say “I do.” Then when I blink, we will be capturing Christmas minis.
I am going to take a short vacation from my camera so I can soak in the memories of my little boys. Summer break is too short and my babes are growing too fast…

I am ready to savor the rest of July with a deep breath, a clear mind, and my long waiting “to do” list completed before rocking out this wedding season.
