I don’t think I’ll ever get over this one.🥹

I’ve been photographing Leah’s family for seven years, and I grew up with her mom and aunt… so getting to capture her senior session felt like the sweetest full-circle moment.

And Leah?? She made it effortless. The kind of beauty that goes way beyond what you see… this soft, genuine, radiant light that just pours out of her.

Add Charleston in peak azalea season, the prettiest spring light, and the most perfect afternoon… and it all just came together in the most magical way.

Watching Alysa talk about not labeling things as “hard,” just new things to learn, really stayed with me. I started photography in my mid-30s after more than a decade in a completely different career, and it completely changed my life.

If you’re excited about something, explore it.

Follow it. Even it is hard. Do it on your own terms. Learn and grow from the tough lessens. Because you’ve got this.

Don’t let doubters, especially the voice in your own head, convince you it’s too late or too risky. You truly never know where it might lead.

It could be your dream job, your dream life, friendships that really see you, or a version of yourself you haven’t met yet.

Success isn’t what people expect from you. It’s how aligned, fulfilled, and genuinely HAPPY you FEEL. And honestly? I am SO excited for this year and everything that’s unfolding. It’s almost like winning Gold. 💛

After our consult call, Aashna and I carefully mapped out each location to match their looks and vibe—and it paid off. Every stop felt intentional, and the whole session was such a fun blend of thoughtful planning and spontaneous creativity.

These two are not only incredibly photogenic but also some of the kindest, sweetest people. Both are working hard in their residency specialties, and this trip to Charleston was a special one for them. So grateful I got to help document it!

Vibrant, fresh, and fun! That’s how I would describe this senior session. From downtown to Isle of Palms, Sydney crushed it behind the camera. And to make the session even more special, she won Homecoming Queen the night before! Of course we had to incorporate the crown! 👑 Congrats, sweet Sydney!

It’s been an absolute honor to capture the sweet Cici Family for the fourth year in a row! Each summer, they visit Charleston, and this year, we ventured beyond Seabrook Island to soak in the charm of historic downtown. Despite the summer heat, we managed to create a beautiful gallery filled with love. Some clients truly tug at your heartstrings, and the Cici Family is one of them. To know them is to adore them! 🌸☀️ Despite the crisp morning air, Avery’s senior session radiated warmth and energy, turning chilly temperatures into pure magic. Traveling all the way from Clemson, Avery and her mom chose ME to capture this special moment in her life. 🥰 That never gets lost on me!

After she completed my senior questionnaire, we collaborated on locations and poses, crafting a session tailored to Avery’s personality and style.

We started at the iconic wisteria wall on Meeting Street that only blooms for a few weeks each March. Even with three bloggers and eight photographers vying for the same spot, our session remained uniquely ours.

As we ventured to Hampton Park, the sunshine came out & matched Avery’s vibrant spirit and her perfectly planned spring dresses. From start to finish, it was a dream senior session experience. Enjoy these previews!💫
