Now these are my favorite of all my photos. Patterns in the sand. I was wondering around the beach chasing ripples and patterns. I could do this for hours. I keep imagining the abstract forms on the wall of some beach theme room.

I think I like the moody sky on Luskentyre. We took a drive to Minishish and found the boat and the old ruin house. St Clements Church is always a beautiful location. And the derelict house with a vehicle of some sort rusted away on the lawn.

This is Seilbost and Luskentyre beach on the Isle of Harris. It was cold with the wind on the beach but very peaceful to walk. We saw a lot of people out and about but enjoyed it when we were alone for sure.

Just got back from Isle of Harris. I had two cancelled flights. I was up this morning at 3 am which would have been 8 am UK time. Jetlag sigh.

I went vintage on this trip. I didn't want to carry a large camera so I bought an Olympus OM5. One of the first micro four thirds cameras made. It has it quirks but the color on the sensor is lovely. I have a lot of photos to get through and will get them out to you.

Scotland can be moody and broody. One day sun and the next day cloud and overcast. The Isle of Harris has some fabulous beaches and it was so peaceful I lost track of time.

The reason I went out today was trees. The orange is lovely against the gray and haze. The last two I thought the bark was a bit of a puzzle and the line up of the trees played with the eye.

I realize it is gray and hazy but the scene was very peaceful. The birds swimming on the lake and not another person around.

I was looking for a photo that I have as a screen saver. It was from a trip in 2013 to Isle Of Skye Scotland. I wondered what I could do editing that would bring out what I saw. I had just started photography and I knew how to use auto! But the beauty around me was awe inspiring. I think from these photos I can tell when I fell in love with the Island and the country.
