My why.

The photos are important, but it’s never just about the photos.

It’s the messages that come after. The ones that say you can’t stop looking through your gallery. That you cried. That these moments mean more than you ever expected. Those are the words that stay with me.

And yes… I really am that person who screenshots your amazing reactions.

I have an album on my phone filled with your kind words. Every thank you, every heartfelt reply, every message telling me how much these images mean to you. On the days I question myself or wonder if all the hard work is worth it, I open that folder.

It reminds me exactly why I keep showing up.

To every family who has trusted me with your biggest milestones, welcomed me into your homes, and allowed me to tell your story, thank you. Your memories become part of mine, and your words remind me that this work matters.

You are my why. 🤍

There is something incredibly special about documenting the time before everything changes.

One last chapter as a family of three. One more morning spent exactly as you’ve always known it. The same familiar paths, but this time with the quiet excitement of knowing someone else will soon be walking them with you.

Years from now, these photographs won’t just announce a pregnancy. They’ll remind you what life looked like right before your world grew in the best way.

The biggest milestones don’t always need grand gestures. Sometimes all they need is your favorite place, the people you love most, and a camera to hold onto it all. 🤍

So many new faces have joined this little corner lately, and I’d say it’s definitely time for a proper introduction.

Hi, I’m Maxi 🤍

This little photography business of mine started in 2017, and almost being at a decade of doing this honestly blows my mind. So many of you have been here since the beginning, and if you’re an OG who’s stuck with me through all my editing phases, price changes, and evolution… you mean more to me than you’ll ever know.

Looking back at how this has grown is surreal. And I’m not done yet. This past year since going full time has been incredible, and I feel so grateful to be here fully leaning into newborn and family photography. It just fits, and I’m truly thriving in it.

If you can’t tell by m my feed… I’m also a big animal lover. I’ve always dreamed of working with animals in some way, and somehow, this has become that. So many of you have told me you were drawn to my work because of the pet photos, and that honestly makes me so happy.

I’ve been through some sh🫢 that’s shaped how I see this role. It’s given me a deep motivation to document everything I can. Life is short, and I really believe every moment deserves to be remembered. No exaggeration, I’m always taking photos 😅 my camera roll is proof. And I’m convinced our kids will be so grateful for all the memories we’re preserving. Just don’t forget to print them. I’m lucky my dad did that for me, and I love flipping through old photo albums.

I’m a Sagittarius… sorry to my husband. If I want something, I’ll go after it. If I think of a trip, I’ll book it. I crave adventure, even in the small things like driving a few towns over for a new coffee shop. But there’s no feeling like booking your next flight for a little getaway. You want to go on a trip? I’m in.

Thanks for being here and I can’t wait to see what the future holds me AND you.

These are the moments I never want to forget. The sticky fingers, big smiles, and simple joys of childhood. The curiosity and the learning. Soaking it all in while my baby girl still wants to do things like this.

There’s something about detail photos that stops you in your tracks… tiny lashes, wrinkled fingers, soft newborn skin, and then your toddler’s hands gently reaching in too.

You look at it and think, how could I possibly love someone more than my first born?
And then you realize… you don’t love less. You just learn a whole new kind of love. 🤍

This was a studio newborn session at the amazing . A bright, industrial space with white walls, beautiful light, and calm, positive energy that lets every detail shine.
