Yesterday standing in front of these iconic photographs by Justin Borucki, Charles Peterson, and Lance Mercer felt like seeing lightning captured in a bottle .
Seeing the original prints in person reminded me that film grain was never a flaw, it was part of the story. Every shadow, every highlight, every imperfect texture holds a feeling that can't be recreated, its preserving the raw energy of an era that continues to inspire photographers and music lovers alike.

I spent part of my birthday weekend at the one-night-only pop-up exhibition at Fifteen Windows Gallery, featuring the work of Justin Borucki, Charles Peterson, and Lance Mercer—three photographers whose images helped define the visual legacy of the grunge era.

It was incredible seeing these photographs in their original form.
Some of the images became iconic album covers, but seeing the full, uncropped photographs gave me a whole new appreciation for the stories behind them.

A huge thank you to the curator for being so welcoming (and for the surprise birthday t-shirt!). It made an already amazing experience even better.
