Cuteness Overload & Zhua Zhou Fun for the first birthday!

Witnessed the most adorable tradition today at little one's 1st birthday celebration! ✨ Have you heard of Zhua Zhou (抓周 - zhuā zhōu)?

It's a beautiful custom in some Asian cultures where a spread of symbolic objects is laid out for the birthday baby to choose from. The object they pick hints at their future interests or talents!

Today, this baby had a tough decision! Was it the doctor's stethoscope hinting at a future healer, the paintbrush suggesting an artistic soul, or maybe the tiny calculator predicting a business whiz?

No matter what they chose, the real joy was capturing the pure curiosity and wonder in (baby's name)'s eyes. Every giggle, every reach, every moment of this special day was pure gold!
