When this girl sent me some inspiration images that included a field of wildflowers…I was intimidated, if I’m honest. There are lots of beautiful fields in Middle Tennessee but not many with that much color & certainly not in the Summer. BUT on an evening drive to Watertown - I saw it; the perfect, most beautiful wild flower field. Thankfully the owners of said field were amazing people & said ‘have at it’ when I asked about shooting there. It all came together last week & I’m so so glad! Congratulations Clatyn on your upcoming graduation!! The world is at your feet!

As a general rule - I don't take December weddings - between my husband's birthday on the 8th, my own on the 28th & 1,346 obligations crossing 3 states - it just isn't a good idea for my sanity. However, every once in a while a couple comes along that makes me bend that rule. Chelsea & Justin were one such couple. Our stories share so many similarities its almost uncanny. Second chances, blended families, unexpected love, and now even the adventure of building a house. I knew from our first couple emails this couple was meant for me & I for them. 2020 wasn't something any of us saw coming, but for me, I can't imagine a better or more beautiful way to end the year. ⁠⠀⁠⠀⁠⠀
