Jada is one of my coworkers, but more importantly, one of my sweetest friends. I’ve been mentoring her in photography this past year, but what she doesn’t know is how much of an inspiration she is to me. She is kind, funny, driven, and so on fire for the Lord🔥🙌🏻 She has encouraged me to get back into photography again and she’s the best hype-woman! I’m so thankful for her and our friendship❤️

It’s been a minute… but I’m back!😊👋🏻
Sooooo much has changed over the last several years, so let me start by reintroducing myself…

Hi, I’m Maleah! I’m a portrait and couples photographer based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with a lifelong love for capturing meaningful moments.

My journey with photography started in childhood (shoutout to little me taking photos with my Nintendo DSI because it had a camera and I thought that was the coolest thing ever) and grew into several years of freelance work before I eventually transitioned into working with kiddos. Eventually, I stepped into my full time role of Photographer & Editor at my church, where I continue to serve today. 

In 2020, I married my best friend and in 2024 we welcomed our sweet baby boy into the world. Motherhood has given me an even deeper appreciation for preserving memories - the big milestones and the small, in-between moments. 

After taking a break from offering sessions outside of work, I am excited to be stepping back into my photography business with a renewed heart. I aim to serve others, and glorify Jesus Christ through the gifts and talents He has given me.

I believe photography is more than pictures. It’s stewardship. It’s storytelling. It’s capturing and preserving the blessings God has given us.

Couples are my absolute favorite to shoot!! I already have several engagements and weddings booked for 2023 and I’m so beyond excited🥰❤️

Also.. I do in-home sessions! These are so cozy and intimate and a GREAT way to feature your pets, favorite games, etc. In-home sessions are also a FANTASTIC way to make your session more personal. It’s a wonderful option for this cold and rainy Christmas season!

Can anyone else believe it’s already December?!? I feel like these last few months have been absolutely flying by!

Life has been so crazy busy recently so I’ve been staying off social media a little bit more. But I also realized the other day that I have about a little over a years worth of work that I haven’t shared on here🤯 So hi🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m going to start sharing a little more on here when I get some extra time😊

Bailey!!! Isn’t she just gorgeous? Photographing her is so easy. I also LOVE when my clients bring something they’re passionate about to their session. I feel like it just makes everything so much more personal🥰❤️
