I offer newborn, children and family portraiture in studio or on location for Murfreesboro, Tennessee and surrounding areas. Hi, I'm Amanda and I'd like to work with YOU. I've been told I have a servant's heart, and I believe you'll see that through my work but, definitely feel it when we meet. You'll always get more than expected when working with me. I grew up like so many never wanting to be in

pictures. I never dreamed it would put me where I belonged, behind the camera. I have suffered two significant head injuries and sadly my vision has had lasting effects. You'd never know it looking through my images. My heart takes the lead when it's time to work and thankfully, never lets me down. I take education and safety very seriously and continue to grow in my craft. It's important to keep up with how to do it properly and ascetically with today's ever-changing technology and expectations. I vow to treat your children with the same love and care I do my own and your images with the professionalism your investment deserves.

Hi everyone! I’m Amanda, owner of Phlashy Photography here in Murfreesboro. For the past five years, I’ve hosted an annual Customer Appreciation Day at my studio as a way to give back to the amazing families who support my business. In previous years we’ve had face painting, my inflatable bubble, hotdogs, and lots of free family fun.

This year, I’m excited to do something a little different — I’m opening the event to local small businesses who want to connect with families, showcase their products, and get their name out in the community. This will be a 2-hour event and I ask that you stay the whole time.

I’m a children and family photographer specializing in cake smash sessions and newborn photography, so I’m especially looking for vendors who offer items or services that fit those audiences. Examples include:

Birthday party essentials

Luxury or keepsake items parents might love

New‑mom must‑haves

Custom name plates or personalized décor

Newborn accessories or handmade items

Sweet treats or party goodies

Any small display that fits an indoor table setup

This event is not meant to be a sales-focused market, but rather a fun, community-centered way to share samples, display your work, and introduce yourself to potential customers.

📍 Location: Phlashy Photography Studio, Big Lots Shopping Center on Broad St.
🎃 Date: Halloween Day (afternoon) — feel free to decorate your table for the theme!
💰 Cost: Completely free for participating businesses and visitors
📌 Important: I will only accept one vendor per business type to avoid overlap, so please reach out early if you’re interested. I’ll provide exact table space and setup details once you contact me.

I’ll be advertising the event across multiple local groups and pages, and we typically have a great turnout. Last year, several neighboring businesses joined in with giveaways and had a blast.

I love being a part of such a wonderful day. Getting to see so many babies and their STRONG support systems, getting to catch up is always so special. Some were born smaller then their daddy’s hand and now they are walking and talking! I’m always so busy visiting and finding friends so if you see me before I see you, come say hi. Because WOW — going from 8–9 AM wake‑ups to 5:30 AM has been a whole journey. I’m finally getting my head on straight again… earlier dinners, extra laundry, new teachers, new routines — and yes, still doing all of this in a boot. My foot is still giving me fits, but I’m hobbling around like a champ.🩼

Now that we’re settling in, it’s time to get excited for what’s next…

Every year I host a customer appreciation day to say THANK YOU to my ride‑or‑dies. My broken foot delayed things a bit, so we’re doing it on Halloween!

🍁 Fall Minis — Outdoor & Indoor Options
I’ll be offering 15‑minute and 30‑minute outdoor sessions (weather permitting).
Weekday after‑school spots will be your best friend — weekends fill up fast for everyone. Plan ahead and it can be just another quick after‑school activity. You know me… fast, efficient, and you’ll be home in plenty of time for your evening routine.

If the weather window closes before you snag an outdoor spot, don’t worry — I’ve got you covered.
I’m offering indoor studio Fall Minis, and I just purchased the perfect backdrop. Its so realistic people will swear you traveled somewhere for photos.

How has it been a year since Griffin was born? A year of milestones, little teefers, first steps, first foods to taste... oh, how special all those firsts are.

Did you know that when you book with me and come to my fully stocked studio, MOST of my props are available for use. We had a blast cycling through just some of the options I have, and it certainly kept this curious 10-month-old entertained. Not everything will be the right size for your child, but I bet I have something that works perfectly. If you see it and want to use it, say something. These images will be showcased in YOUR home. I want you to love what you're looking at as much as I do.
