In 2023, a woman experienced severe headaches and skyrocketing blood pressure. Despite modifying her lifestyle and seeing various doctors, her hypertension persisted. After noticing blood in her urine, tests discovered a blockage leading to kidney malfunction, necessitating the kidney's removal. Despite clean pre-surgery tests, her post-op tests revealed high-grade carcinoma. Facing chemotherapy and a year of immunotherapy, she reflects on the proverb "Be careful what you wish for", regretting wishes for time away from her beloved teaching job now that her health is compromised....

As a wife, mom of 2, and an exceptional children's educator life can become quite stressful. Anxiety took over and sucked the soul right out of me to the point of utter exhaustion. The craziness consumed every aspect of my day and when one thing happened it left the remainder of my daylight hours spiraling out of control. Things got so bad I knew I had to take back my emotions and my days from anxiety and depression....
