All this rain has been a bit of a drag BUT it’s made Cali so frikkin GREEEEEEEN!

We just got more snow today and I *can’t wait* for it to finally be properly spring. Aside from hating cold and dreary weather and how it gets me feeling oh so blue…I just want to see them spring super blooms!! 🌸 🌸 🌸 And more awesome landscapes to capture!

This day was the first blue sky for soooo long. When I first moved to Cali I was sorta weirded out by how many days of the year were completely clear and cloudless, but then I got used to it…and how many great hair days it entails 😆 At least now we’ve moved on from snow and it’s only torrential rain fall. That I can deal with much better. 👍🏻

I should be posting spring pics…but no…more snow. The Donner Pass - ya know, the pass so intense with snow that PEOPLE ATE EACH OTHER has gotten the largest dumping of snow on record. More snow than people eating each other snow. (This is my new personal metric for snow measurement - the people eating each other scale.) I haven’t resorted to cannibalism…yet. But I better get some spring soon or y’all might start lookin tasty.

We’re currently getting absolutely pummeled with snow. At least a couple feet already over the last few days and now it’s looking like a couple more feet between today and tomorrow. I like to *visit* snow, like I did with this shot in Tahoe over my birthday. But living in it…no thanks. Spring please!!

Gotta say I feel pretty lucky to be so close to both Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, as well as all the other beautiful spots that aren’t as well known in the sierras 😸
