The Morris family is one of those families you can just tell—this kid is already so loved and exactly where they belong. Getting to be there with them felt really special and I was honored to capture this special memory for them.

Then came the moment they’ve been waiting for—the official “yes.” So many smiles, so much joy, and a room full of family and friends showing up to celebrate right alongside them. It was one of those moments where you could just feel how big it was.

Walking through security, one of the guards asked if I was “the one who photographs all the adoptions around here.” And while I’m not quite that yet… I’d be honored to be. Truly. There’s nothing like getting to witness and capture moments like these.

Adoption court days are quickly becoming some of my favorite things to photograph. There’s nothing staged or forced about it—it’s just real, life-changing moments that matter. 🤍

Spent the day at Growing Wild and it felt like pure childhood magic 🤍

Bunnies to snuggle, Easter outfits everywhere, and kids who were fully in their element—running, laughing, and just being kids. Days like this are the best kind to capture.

Some days this job feels extra sacred. 🐝

I met this sweet friend a year and a half ago at foster care minis, and since then I’ve had the joy of capturing her and Levi again and again. Today, I got to witness the moment their story became official — and I don’t take that lightly. 📸✨

Adoption is a perfect picture of the gospel: chosen, pursued, named, and forever loved. 🤍 And foster care? It’s something so close to my heart that I will always drop everything to celebrate when a family says yes in this way. 🫶

So grateful to celebrate the Burgess family today — what an honor to be here for the “forever.” 🏡🤍

HBD SPIDER-REEDY 🎂🕷️🎉

His parents used to tease me for being a Marvel fan… and now look where we are.
(I did show him his first Marvel movie at 6 months old, so I’m taking a little credit for this 😂)

So grateful to get to watch my little bestie grow, and can’t wait to see all the adventures this little superhero swings into next 🕸️✨
