Clay reached out to me last weekend with hopes to surprise his now fiancée while they were both in town. We scouted the perfect spot on Friday, crossed our fingers for good weather on Saturday, and pulled the surprise off (with a little quick improvisation, stalling, and hiding behind trees.) What better place to show off Murray than at the arboretum?

I got to capture a beautiful love story this weekend that traversed over 5,000 miles and united two cultures, two families, two hearts that were tied together by love for one another and for Christ. What an incredible opportunity it was to see how this love conquered all - distance, timing, language, culture - and to capture this new chapter as it unfolded, surrounded by their friends and family. And what a joy it was to learn more about the groom's culture and heritage. While different languages were spoken these two days, the universal one we all understood was Love. ❤️ I'll carry this story with me for all my days!
