I enjoy capturing memories that I can keep forever - documenting history. I can see mundane details of everyday life and find the beauty in them. I fell in love with this form of art at the age of 10 when I got my first automatic camera. I found I could get lost in taking photos of simple things, like a knotted rope, or a budding rose. Not only is it a creative challenge, but it's become my creati

ve outlet to express myself and tell a story. I have always enjoyed the work of other photographers, and feel connected to them when I feel what they are trying to convey. Photos capture my heart and I feel a strong emotion, which I in turn want to share with others.
