Sometimes my favorite people to photograph aren’t the ones running through the sand or laughing at my bad jokes.

They’re the grandparents.

The ones who started it all.

The ones who built the family I’m photographing today. Every hug, every tradition, every vacation, every new generation somehow traces back to them.

Getting to freeze that legacy in a single photograph is one of the greatest privileges of this job. Because years from now, these won’t just be family photos, they’ll be reminders of where the story began. 🤍
