This chapter is coming to a close.
I didnāt think Iād be writing this post so soon. Honestly, I wanted to wait. I didnāt want to share too early and risk any of my current clients feeling like my heart isnāt in it ā because it absolutely is.
I never imagined this day coming, but life changes. Iāve always known my greatest priority is my faith and family. But lately, Iāve felt a stronger pull to slow down and be more present in these fleeting young years. Life shifts, seasons change, and sometimes we have to pivot so our time matches our heart.
So why am I making this post now? Because my inbox has been flooded with inquiries, and Iām beyond grateful. But every time I have to tell someone Iām unavailable for their big day, itās hard. I love what I do, and this decision wasnāt easy. Still, I have complete peace in it.
To every client, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has meant more than you can ever know. You trusted me to capture your most meaningful moments, from proposals to saying I do, to bringing home your babies. That trust is something I will always treasure.
To everyone who has shared, commented, followed, or left a review ā thank you.
I have a few more weddings on the calendar and wonāt be taking any more. Iāll still take a few family sessions here and there, but I wonāt be marketing or feeling any pressure to keep up a website or post regularly.
This page might start to look a little different. I still have so much work that I love and still want to share, so you may see a few wedding posts here and there. It also might become a little more personal with some work sprinkled in. Or I might just fully step away. Iām not sure yet.
I donāt fully know what this next chapter looks like. Iām going to learn to slow down and soak in being a mama to the beautiful children God has blessed me with. Iām so excited for that and Iām looking forward to whatever comes. š¤
