Carlos & Christina | A Wedding Weekend in Mystic City, Connecticut

As I spent hours threading together Carlos & Christina's wedding film, I couldn't help but be drawn to how genuine their love is for each other.
It's in the way they instinctively reach for one another. The way Carlos looks at and holds Christina with the utmost care. The spark in their eyes whenever they're gushing over cute things like boats, coffee, musicals, their four cats, each other's quirks... each other.
I swear there wasn't a single cut where they didn't genuinely enjoy being together.
It's rare.
It's beautiful.
Set in the charming coastal town of Mystic, Connecticut, every part of their wedding weekend carried this feeling of adventure, romance, and home all at once.
The wedding weekend kicked things off with a ride aboard the historic Sabino, cruising through the Mystic River, a perfect introduction to the town. Followed by an intimate, no-fuss welcome dinner that somehow ended with everyone watching the Knicks game together. Just perfect.
Day two was, of course, even more magical. Walking down the aisle at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. Exchanging vows aboard the Encore as it sailed back along the river. Then ending the night with an incredible celebration at the Delamar Mystic, complete with surprise performances.
Speaking of performances, they both love musicals so much that they designed their own wedding playbill (complete with ads!) as a tribute to the stories they love. Such a thoughtful, personal touch that didn't just tell their story but also invited every guest into it.
The theme: Seasons of Love.
"Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes... how do you measure a year in the life?
In daylights. In sunsets. In midnights. In cups of coffee."
I'd like to add a few more:
In shared glances and gentle touches.
In cooking dinner together.
In him playing the piano while she's on her Switch.
In finding joy in simply being together.
And yes... definitely in cups of coffee!
