2026 Graduation Season is quickly approaching! I had the opportunity to capture this STUNNING young lady’s personality with a fun downtown afternoon shoot. Complete with coffee shops, the Capital, and some fall leaves, we were able to get some of Boise’s beauty along with hers. Photo shoots don’t have to be stuffy and boring, trying to just have fun with my Seniors and getting to know them is essential in bringing out their true personalities!

To the rest of the world, she’s a mom. To her children, she is their whole world. 🌎

A mother’s love is the ultimate safe harbor. It’s the "fix-it-all" hug and the loudest cheer from the sidelines. During our sessions, I love capturing those little moments of connection—the way a little one cuddles into her shoulder or a teenager shares a rare, genuine laugh with her.

MY BUSINESS is 3 years old and I can’t even believe it! Pinch me - I’m dreaming!!! It’s the only thing I have ever had that has been all mine. My little seed I grew from day one. 🪴

I’ll never forget the day I told my husband “I’m starting a photography business”. He looked at me like I was crazy and didn’t take me seriously. I didn’t blame him, I’ve had a lot of ideas and never really followed through, but this was different. Something in my gut told me to go for it! A few days later, the Amazon man delivered a new camera and some gear (that was easy) and then it was up to me to figure it all out!

Thankfully my nieces and nephews modeled for me, I spent hours online learning all the things, and I put one foot in front of the other. 👣

Did I suck? Yep. Did I cry? Absolutely. (A lot) Did I do lots of things wrong? Of course.
But, I also did some things right. I kept going. I never gave up. I kept learning. I gave myself grace. My family and friends kept paying me as I got better. (Thankfully! 🙌🏼) I went all in on myself. I didn’t let the mean girl voices in my head take over. As Dory said “just keep swimming”. 🐠

Here I am three years later. Three years that flew by. I met amazing people. I made memories with people I will cherish. I learned that my time is valuable and what shoots bring me joy (and which ones don’t😉)! There is something empowering about making my own schedule and some extra money isn’t too shabby either. 💸

This is your sign to go all in on yourself. To start before you are ready. To do something just for YOU - regardless of your age, ability, what anyone thinks, or if your friends or spouse doubts you. JUST FREAKING DO IT!!!! 🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️
