Apparently, kindergarteners are taking dating VERY seriously these days. 😂💍🍭

He asked her to be his girlfriend. She said yes. And then, naturally, there had to be a proposal. Enter: the Ring Pop. 😂🥹

I don’t think I could have dreamed up a sweeter little session if I tried. These two are best friends, “boyfriend and girlfriend,” and completely convinced they’re doing life together—and honestly, I’m here for it. But my favorite part? Getting to photograph the sweetness of their little friendship and the people surrounding them. Those are the moments I want to photograph every single time.

I’ve had the privilege of photographing this family since big brother was still growing in his mama’s belly. And now somehow…they’re both heading off to school. I don’t know how time moves this quickly, but I’m incredibly grateful I’ve gotten to witness so much of it through my camera.
Their first days.
Their growing personalities.
The little seasons in between.
And now, this chapter.
These are the days that feel ordinary while you’re living them. But one day, their mama will look back at these images and remember exactly who they were here. This is why I love photographing your families.
I don’t just want to meet you for one session. I want to be there for your story. From wedding days, to growing bellies, from babies to big kids, from one season to the next. What an incredible gift it is to watch your families grow—and to help you hold onto the pieces of childhood that are gone far too soon.

I first met this sweet girl’s mama when she was still carrying her in her womb—and now somehow, I had the opportunity to photograph her getting ready to walk into kindergarten.

Excuse me while I go cry for a minute. 🥹

This is the part of photography that will never get old for me. I don’t just want to photograph the big, picture-perfect milestones. I want to be there for the in-between.
The growing.
The changing.
The little seasons that somehow pass before we’re ready for them to.
That’s why I love getting to grow with my clients. I have the opportunity to meet you in one season and, if I’m lucky, you invite me back for the next one...and the next one...and the next.
From maternity photos to kindergarten, what an absolute gift it is to document a little life unfolding right in front of me.

This is the kind of family photo session I’ll never get tired of.
A beautiful evening at the lake, golden light, and a family simply being together.
No elaborate setup.
No perfect poses.
No need to make this moment into something it isn’t.
Just them.
The way their little ones naturally gather around them. The way Dad holds his baby. The way Mom watches her kids. The tiny interactions happening between every “pose” that tell you so much more about this family than a perfectly posed picture ever could. Because someday, this season will be gone.

Give me the lake. Give me the golden hour. Give me the kids being wild and silly and themselves. I’ll take care of the rest. Because you’re not just preserving what your family looked like that evening. You’re preserving what it felt like to be in this season, together.

When a lake mini turned into a senior session 🥰❤️💁🏼‍♀️ I’m here for it. I don’t specialize in senior photos but it’s so fun to get to do them every so often. Getting outside of my comfort zone helps to push me creativity and we all need that from time to time.
