Our annual hold Haley like a baby tradition is now one of my most favorite Fall traditions. And now we get to include Miss Ruby in the fun.

Thank you R, M & A for trusting in me to capture another year of love, laughs and memories.

It’s always such an honor to get to capture annual memories for my family’s.

One thing I miss most about leaving home is missing out on all the families I’ve been photographing since I first started my photography business.

Had so much fun during this session with my new little bestie turned assistant.

Things started off very quiet, but then we sang Aladdin songs, talked MLP (My Little Pony, if you’re not cool enough to know that abbreviation). We had a jumping contest...I lost. And she helped me make her mommy and daddy smile and laugh.

And the best thing...I not only got to see her amazing personality in this session, I was able to perfectly capture it.
Mission accomplished.

One thing I gotta admit about Summers in the Midwest.... just about anywhere makes for a dreamy backdrop for a killer ph...

One thing I gotta admit about Summers in the Midwest.... just about anywhere makes for a dreamy backdrop for a killer photo session. This beautiful little path is literally 2 houses down from me and it was THE perfect spot for last nights bump session!

Outtakes always end up being my favorites. I have yet to meet a kid that will 💯 comply with most requests given during a photoshoot, but I always tell mom and dad “just go with it. I’ll capture what your life is in this moment. And it will be beautiful. I promise.” I have yet to break that promise.

This pic isn’t exactly what mom had in mind, but I love that she will have a beautiful picture and a fun memory to look back on to remember. That’s always way better than a perfectly posed pic with no backstory to be told in my opinion.

And p.s. Naperville locals!! I’m now offering limited mini (20 minute) and mini minis (10 min) physically distanced photo sessions if you wanna head over to one of the beautiful little paths in my neighborhood! I am not even gonna apologize for the over posting that’s about to go down. When you finally pick your camera back up AND you get some ridiculously adorable family’s to let you capture some amazingness for them...and you end up with this kind of cuteness...the world needs to see it.

I mean, can you not just feel the happiness and love pouring out of this shot?!! If this doesn’t make you smile, then I don’t know what will.

I am legit dying over all the imperfectly perfect moments of love, laughter and craziness I was lucky enough to be witness to and capture this weekend.
