I can’t believe we’ve been gone for 18 days already on this glamping adventure! ❤️

The miles, the back roads, the bike rides, the beautiful sunrises, and the incredible people we’ve met along the way have filled our hearts with gratitude. Every stop has reminded us that life isn’t measured by the things we own, but by the memories we create and the moments we share. 🫶🏼

We’re intentionally making memories, slowing down, and investing in experiences that will become part of the legacy we leave behind. One day, these photos and stories will be worth far more than any possession—they’ll remind our family of a life well lived and well loved.🚐🦪🥰

Here’s to many more miles, countless adventures, and embracing every moment along the way. We’re not quite done yet…❤️

Sometimes Mother Nature has other plans… 🌿🌧️

We were up before sunrise, excited to photograph the incredible cypress stumps and knees at Dead Lakes in Wewawitchka, Florida.

Unfortunately, after all the recent rain, a storm had pushed through and raised the water level by nearly 9 feet, leaving most of the landscape we had hoped to capture underwater.

While the conditions weren’t what we had planned, it was still an adventure and just gives us another reason to come back when the water recedes.

A huge thank you to our guide, Matt with Off The Map Expeditions, LLC, who was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of Dead Lakes, great attitude, and passion for the area made the morning worthwhile despite the high water. If you’ve ever wanted to explore this unique and beautiful place by boat, I’d be happy to connect you with him. Thanks, Matt, for an unforgettable morning on the water.

Photography is all about patience, adapting to the conditions, and knowing that sometimes the best images are simply waiting for another day. We’ll be back. 📷🌅

One of our favorite parts of traveling isn’t just the destination…it’s discovering the small towns and the local businesses that make them so special. ❤️

We stopped in Wewahitchka, Florida, and had the best potato skins with pimento cheese and hot honey at The Hitch. The burgers were the bomb, too! 🍔💣

Places like this are full of friendly faces, homemade food, and stories you just can’t find at a chain restaurant. 😋

When you choose to eat local, shop local, and explore these hidden gems, you’re helping families, supporting dreams, and keeping small-town charm alive.

So the next time you’re on a road trip, take the scenic route. Stop at the little café, browse the local shops, and enjoy the places that make each community unique. Cheers to The Hitch! 🍻

When your friend writes a book sharing her beautiful story “From being bound to boundless. From silence to strength. From performing to becoming whole. Being beautiful is a B.” YOU are beautiful inside and out.

We celebrated her and all the things she has overcome to be this survivor and amazing woman helping others by sharing her story.
