Your reception is where the party actually happens, so do not treat it like an afterthought.

Allison and Tommy's reception at MGF proved exactly why. A huge loft space with room to actually move and mingle. Design that felt insanely intentional down to the last detail. Food that was just as memorable as everything else on the table. And instead of easing into it, they opened with a full dance set and let the band bring the energy up from there.

Every single piece of this day was thought through, and it showed in the room the second people walked in.

The The Ritz-Carlton, Naples is one of those rare places that actually gets more beautiful in black and white.

Strip the color away and the architecture hits different, the light does something incredible, and suddenly nothing is competing with the moment happening in front of it. Just him, just her, just the yes.

Is anyone else obsessed with this floral trend?! 😍

Forget the traditional bouquet, this bride swapped it for a basket of blooms for her bridesmaids instead. Such an unexpected, editorial twist, and I am fully here for it. My brides are always ahead of the curve and this is exactly why.

Happy Mother's Day to the women who give everything and ask for nothing.
Watching my son grow is the greatest gift of my life. But on this day especially, I feel the weight of who isn't here to watch him grow with me.
My mom passed away four years ago. Right as I was becoming a mother myself.
And there is something about that ... about stepping into the biggest role of your life and losing the one person who knew how to do it best ...that never fully leaves you.
So I hold both things today. The joy and the ache. The gratitude and the grief.
And I know I'm not the only one.
To the ones missing their moms. The ones longing to become a mother. The ones grieving quietly while the world celebrates loudly.
You are seen. You are loved. ❤️

One outfit. A cowboy hat. A jacket he lasted maybe four photos in thanks to the Florida heat. Hair up, hair down.
That's how Megan + Preston got a full editorial's worth of looks without a single outfit change.
The secret to great engagement photos isn't more outfits and style changes. It's one look you're obsessed with and small tweaks that change the whole feel.
Also the yellow against that Naples sunset? I'm still not over it. ✨

Here's the thing. My job isn't just to take photos. It's to make you forget there's a camera. We talk, we laugh, we move around, we co-create the whole thing together.

There's something happening in this industry that I haven't been able to stop thinking about.
Photographers using AI to generate images that never happened.
Moments that were never lived.
Emotions that were never felt.
Slipping them into galleries as if they were real.
And I understand the pressure.
To deliver more.
To look polished.
To compete.
I feel it too.
But here's what I keep coming back to….
Your wedding day is already full of more than any camera can hold.
A dad trying to hold it together and failing beautifully.
A best friend who doesn't need words.
A groom who forgot how to breathe for a second when he saw you.
These things happened.
They were real.
They belong to you and to the people who love you and someday, to the people who come after you.
That's what I'm here to protect.
Not to manufacture something beautiful.
To find it.
Because it's already there, unfolding right in front of us, whether I'm ready or not.
The images that make you cry twenty years from now won't be the ones that looked perfect.
They'll be the ones that looked exactly like your people, on exactly that day, in exactly that light.
Real is irreplaceable.
And it always will be.
