This past Sunday, we had the privilege of celebrating Julie and Kevin alongside their loved ones. We’ve known them and both of their families for a long time, so it was extra sweet to be asked to capture their joyful wedding day!

Fun fact: Mr. Miller taught both Shem and me in junior high. The subject? Reading. I’ll let you take a guess at who was the better student. 😉

Congratulations, you two! It was a beautiful day celebrating two beautiful people, and we’re so thankful we got to be a part of it!

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Kessler! 🤍

The perfect wedding to wrap up our August with busy season right around the corner. They were just the best to work with - so flexible, trusting, and super kind - can't get much better than that! Every single vendor there was also absolutely amazing.

Plus, these two got me the sweetest gift - check it out in the comments. I enjoyed my cold brew in it this morning, so it's already getting put to good use!

P.S. I know the first two pictures are super similar, but this is what happens when I can't decide between the two. They get both as sneaks. ;)

🍂 FALL MINIS! 🍂

I know some of you have been patiently waiting for these, and I apologize that they’re coming a little later than usual. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t even sure we were going to be able to host fall minis this year. October is already packed with weddings, an out-of-state trip, and other commitments, and I just wasn’t sure how we were going to squeeze them all in.

Because our schedule is so full, we will not be accepting any full family sessions in October. So if you’ve been wanting beautiful fall pictures, this is your chance!

They will be held in Grand Rapids, OH — exact location will be announced once we see how the colors are looking.

Please be sure you're also available on the backup date for potential inclement weather.

50% nonrefundable retainer is required to secure your spot with the remaining balance due 3 days prior to the minis. I'm excited we've been able to work them out, and I hope you are too! (We also have some remaining spots open for sunflower minis on August 23rd if you'd like something sooner!)

P.S. I know that I have quite a few of you with mini gift certificates that haven’t been redeemed - please be sure you check expiration dates! We plan to host Christmas minis as well, and that’ll be it for 2026. 💛

The forecast had us watching the radar all day, ready to pivot if the weather didn't cooperate. Somehow, we stayed right in the clear while it seemed to be raining everywhere around us the entire time! I don't know how many times I mentioned that I was in disbelief.

Because of that, we were able to capture all of Nate + Caely's portraits outside just as planned, sneak away after sunset for some nighttime portraits (which are always some of our favorites!), and then end the evening with the perfect sparkler exit and golf cart getaway. It was the best way to wrap up such a fun day.

We are so grateful they chose us to capture their love story and to celebrate alongside them. Wishing you both an amazing rest of your honeymoon in Antigua! 🥰
