The most common thing people tell me before a session is that their pet is going to be the difficult one.
Wiggly. Shy. Won't sit still. Hides from strangers. Hates the camera.
I've heard all of it. I've never left a session without something the owner loved.
The Tongue Out Canvas is built for exactly this. $595 for the session and a finished 20x20 canvas, session fee waived. The canvas happens no matter how the session goes.

What's the one thing your pet always does once they've decided you're not interesting anymore?

People always want to know what actually happens at a cat session, so here's the real version, using this year's calendar sessions. I show up at your place and say hi to your cat if your cat is open to that. Then I set up my stuff. Some cats spend that whole part sniffing my bag and inspecting everything I brought. Others go hide somewhere and watch me from across the room. Both are fine. Then I sit down and wait. Eventually they come out, sometimes on their own and sometimes because you got the toy out, and that's when we take photos. That's the whole thing. You don't have to prep your cat or train them or apologize for them. Sessions are $185, and I come to you.

I've been thinking about why this face works so well in a photo.
Most pet photos are pets holding still. Sitting, looking at the camera, being good. Which is fine, but it's the version of them that's performing.
The open-mouth face is the opposite. It only shows up when they've stopped paying attention to you. It's them off duty.
That's why it looks like them and the posed one sometimes doesn't.

Burst mode works differently on every phone and they keep moving it, so if you can't find yours, comment or DM me. I'll figure it out with you.
Then try this and send me what you get. I'm serious, I want to see them.
