I always tell my couples that if they choose to do a first look, there are two completely different feelings when it comes to portraits throughout the day.

First look portraits are filled with excitement. All the butterflies, anticipation, and that unforgettable moment when you finally see each other and get to experience your wedding day together.

Then there are the portraits after the ceremony (or during sunset). These feel different in the best way because they are more relaxed, joyful, and full of celebration because YOU FINALLY DID IT. You’re officially husband and wife!!!!!!

I love getting to capture the unique emotions, joy, and love that come with each part of the day🥹

Hi friends!!!!!!

There are so many new faces on here that I thought it was time to reintroduce myself so we can get to know each other. FIRST OFF, I am so thankful you’re here and following along in this little corner of the instagram world called Casey King Photo.

I wanted to share a few things about me so you can feel like you actually know the person behind all these precious moments that I capture with my heart and my camera.

1. I am SOO excited I get to marry my fiance and best friend in September this year!!!! Fun fact, my dad actually set us up and our first date was at pinewood social.

2. I am a dog mom to our girl, Millie. She is four years old and I truly birthed her so you can’t convince me otherwise. Mille loves car rides, balls, swimming, and cuddling before bed.

3. JESUS!!!! I am a disciple of Jesus Christ and wouldn’t be who I am today without his love and goodness in my life. I will continue to shout it from the rooftops because He is so good and has changed my life. If you ever want to talk about Him, faith, Christianity, etc. my messages are always open and I would love to listen.

4. I have a passion for fitness and working out. To be honest, it’s more mentally healing than physical for me. I also love it because it’s something me and my dad do regularly together.

5. I LOVE reading!!! I especially love thriller, fantasy, mystery, and faith based books. Some of my favorite books are Harry Potter, ACOTAR, and Get out of your head by Jennie Allen. I’m currently reading Glow of the Everflame in the Kindred’s curse series.

6. Traveling!!! My excitement for traveling started one summer in college when I spent three months in Malindi, Kenya interning with an organization there. Experiencing different cultures, trying new things, and meeting people that are different than me brings me so much joy!!! Plus, getting to see more of God’s creation always leaves me in awe. two of my bucket list places are Greece and Iceland!!!!

7. I love photographing moments and seasons that you can you never get back, but can look back on for forever.
