A collection of milestones in 2025! Life is way too short to not celebrate all the steps along the way.

While 2025 definitely had its mountains and valleys, we want to take a second to remember all the wonderful chapters that unfolded. Life will never be perfect, but it will remain sweet as long as we remember all the Lord has done and will continue to do.

We originally planned to take on 12 weddings, but by the provision of God I was able to go part-time in nursing to pursue photography more full time alongside Aaron! This allowed us to take on 18 beautiful celebrations and many more sessions in between.

We learned to shoot with new techniques and gear, gained a lot of friends in our social media community, and conducted our first 3 mentor calls. We started shooting film!

We traveled a lot, cried a lot, laughed a lot, went to bed late a lot, and continued settling into our little home in Tennessee.

What a beautiful season of life and love. I am so hopeful for 2026 and can’t wait to see what it’s in store. Thank you for being here. Thank you for choosing us, your constant trust and encouragement, and for participating in this precious journey. We are so grateful! Happy New Year!

A love letter to the beginning of a journey in film.

When I got my first three rolls back, I knew my photography would be changed for the better moving forward.

After many years in the photography industry, I have found it is easy to rely on your experience alone for creativity and success. But the evolution of art requires pushing your own limits and introducing new challenges to properly chase light and gain a new perspective.

To my friends that have already adopted film and been so kind to answer so many of my questions, I appreciate you!! I am so thrilled to join you in the passion!

To our clients, Aaron and I are so excited to continue growing to bring you nothing but excellence and our very very best as we take your memories and future nostalgia, and turn them into pictures that make you feel something—works of art in and of themselves.

We can’t wait to see where this goes!

P.S. I used The Shire for the song because to me, this truly feels like embarking on a grand adventure! And if we don’t keep our feet, there’s no telling where we might be swept off to. ;)

A sweet evening with Abigail and Brayden.

I’ve known Abigail since she was around 7 years old, so to see her blossom into a young woman in love AND be the one to document it alongside my love was truly a gift. The weather was perfect and we loved getting to know their relationship. I have so many more photos to share from our time together, but here are a few of my favorites!

We spent their session dancing through the gardens and dreaming about all the beautiful things for their wedding happening in just a few short weeks! It’s so sweet to see a friend of many years fall in love with the person perfect for them! So this is love.

A Sun Reigh Photography testimonial from Catherine and Tyler

I see this gallery, I hear this music, and I read these words…I can’t help but become misty eyed. I’ve never once taken for granted this opportunity to take part in documenting people’s most precious life’s moments, but sometimes that realization becomes so front and center of my mind it is overwhelming in the most beautiful and positive of ways.

This wedding brings me to an acute awareness of that very fact.

The ceremony took place surrounded by the TN mountains, a place in nature the couple shares a deep reverence for. From the homemade blueberry wedding cake, and the table decor filled with flowers from their garden, all the way to the bride’s Juliet veil she had known she’d always wear, and a surprise recorded speech the bride arranged from the groom’s brother who is deployed, every detail was intentional and heartfelt.

Catherine and Tyler, thank you for trusting us to document this sacred day. It was an honor. We wish you years and years of love and joy and blessings!

A day to night flatlay transition!

The gold flowers you see in the first photo are custom boutonnières the bride found for the men to wear. Some of our favorite and most classic we have ever seen.

We love capturing these details because they are visual clues into what’s happening throughout the celebration, and they are nods to the intentionality of the couple.
