Yesterday was incredible.

i’ve always said the biggest compliment you can receive as a wedding photographer is to be invited back to document another wedding for the same family.

It was so wonderful to spend an other wedding weekend with the Hill family and a pleasure to meet the Macdonalds.

There were so many beautiful moments from yesterday but just had to share a few highlights today.

If you’re wondering why this wedding looks so beautiful it’s because of and his magical skills for things of this nature….and didn’t hurt to be taking photos at one of the best venues in Nashville

It’s been an interesting few days. I’ve seen a lot of extremes. Beauty + Destruction. Anger + Grace. Selfishness + Unfathomable Generosity. Panic + Peace.

I’m incredibly grateful for all the workers out there fighting the effects of this storm and restoring life to the city. Everyone from NES workers to hotel staff.

I hope you and your family are safe and warm…or at least warm enough.

I still have some spots available for the $100 headshot event.

if you need a headshot that you love posting everywhere, including places like LinkedIn, Instagram, and your email… This is the perfect opportunity for you to get a headshot at a discounted rate.

The event is happening at my home studio in South Nashville on Friday, January 30th.

You can claim your spot using the link in my profile. It would be so good to see you and even better to create a headshot that looks and feels like the best version of yourself.

Your wedding day is going to be one of the best days of your life.

The goal isn’t perfect photos — it’s being fully present while they’re happening.

My approach is simple:
• Natural, honest moments
• Gentle direction (so you never feel awkward)
• A calm presence you can trust on a once-in-a-lifetime day

If you’re drawn to photography that feels timeless, relaxed, and true to you — I’m really glad you’re here.

To every couple who invited me into their wedding day this year—thank you. Thank you for your trust, your joy, and the way you showed up fully for one of the most meaningful days of your lives.

Your wedding day is sacred. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of love, history, hope, and all the emotions that come with saying yes to a future together. Thank you for letting me step into that space with you and tell your story the way it truly felt—not staged, not rushed, but honest and full of life.

What stood out to me this year was how connected so many of these days felt. In some cases, I found myself photographing couples whose families I’ve worked with before—familiar faces mixed in with new beginnings. It was a quiet reminder that these stories don’t exist in isolation; they’re part of something bigger. And being invited back into that world is never lost on me.
But above all, this year was about you.
Your laughter.
Your happy tears.
Your story.
The joy that spilled out when the day finally arrived.

Thank you for trusting me with something that matters so deeply. I don’t take that lightly, and I never will.
To my 2025 couples: I see you, and I’m grateful for each of you.

And to my 2026 couples—your days are already on my heart. I can’t wait to celebrate you and everything that’s coming next.

With gratitude,
Justin

Ellie + August. 12.20.25.

The last wedding of the year did not disappoint. Ellie and August are such a sweet and fun couple. And their entire day was absolutely perfect. Not to mention we couldn’t have asked for a better weather for a December wedding.

The only sad thing is that I only have 20 slides to share some highlights…so I’ll have to do a part 2 to share all the amazing details from and

Madison and Kevin…where do I begin? Actually, I know exactly where to start. I first met Madison a few years ago when at her brother’s engagement session. It was out on a big beautiful property in Kentucky. It was nice surprise when I got a message from her asking about my availability. Working with the same family for another wedding is one of my favorite things. It’s like a family reunion.

So let’s talk about the wedding. Waller, the cutest dog this side of the Mississippi was trying to steal the show all day. Luckily, he was tucked away for the ceremony so Madison could get the attention every bride deserves. The vibe was Historic Nashville dancing with New Orleans. Classy. Party.

It had been a few years since I got to photograph a wedding at the beautiful Union Station Hotel. Did you see this place? Soak in the crazy beautiful architecture. And the roof makes you feel like your in a palace.

This wedding was fun in so many different ways. I’m sad this will probably be the last wedding I get to do for this wonderful family. Hopefully I’m still shooting weddings in 20 years or so and we can get together again.

Last thing. A round of applause please for the amazingly talented and his team at Bruce Pitman Inc. After I walked into the reception, I had to pick my jaw off the floor. Stunning.

Delaney and Sam had one of those perfect wedding weekends full of rich tradition and full on party celebration.

One thing I love about photographing Jewish weddings is thinking about how the traditions throughout the day has been passed down through generations for thousands of years. The other thing I love about photographing Jewish weddings is the dancing… I can get a little crazy trying to be in the middle of everything to get a great shot, but it is so much fun.

even after the wedding ended, the party wasn’t over. We headed downtown for a few more photos with this wonderful couple and their family and friends.
