Let’s be honest. Putting unfinished work out invites opinions. The good, the thoughtful… and yes, the occasional nonsense. I’m ok with that. I’m looking for your input.
Because the right people, the ones who feel art, know it’s never just about what you see. It’s about the energy. Movement. That subtle tension between calm and bold that pulls you in and keeps you there.
Im trying to decide if this piece is still evolving. Layered neutrals, a city-like rhythm, moments of color breaking through. Like light hitting the skyline at just the right time.
Some will scroll past.
Other will stop, feel something and know exactly why.
If it speaks to you, I’d genuinely love to hear what it’s saying.
I’ll share when it’s complete. If any final shifts happen before it becomes available, I’ll possibly share them too.

You want to know what separates flat art from art that actually makes you stop scrolling?

Layers.

This is where the magic starts, the texture, depth, movement, and enough controlled chaos to make the piece feel alive.

One of my favorite parts of creating is building up those layers on a blank canvas and watching it slowly turn into something with a story.

Every scrape, mark, and messy decision adds character. Nothing is wasted. It all matters.

People usually notice the finished painting. I notice the history underneath it.

A beautiful night shared growing community and building relationships. Growing your business is about being involved, caring about where your community is growing and the people in it. Recovery is a Bi**ch but I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Best part is my creativity is creeping back in week by week, literally step by step. I am so excited getting back in studio and painting, creating again. Working on incomplete work I left months ago and creating new ones feel so right!

9 days! ! !
Very thankful for all the hard working frozen NES workers and extras broght in to get our home back to being our home. We have just now gotten our power back!
Yes 9 days
We take for granted the amenities our electric service workers provides us.
Nashville was hit HARD!!!
So if you know any of the relentless hard workers please pass my Big Big Thank You on to all of them. Pass this post on or share it so everyone of them knows I am thankful for the hard work given during this cities desperate need.

Hey friends, family, customers, and everyone who’s been quietly cheering me on.

I’ve been pretty MIA the last few months. Life hit hard, my body needed attention, and healing had to come first. I’m okay, I’m resting, and I’m doing exactly what I need to do right now, even when that means slowing way down.

I’m not gone forever. I’ll be back in the new year with fresh vision, new art, and some really special things I’ve been dreaming up. For now, I’m focusing on getting my strength back and finding my footing again.

Thank you for the messages, the love, the patience, and the support. It means more than I can put into words. Truly. 💛

Do your children or even you enjoy a fun art class? I know my grandchildren and I do! Vacation was great for getting creative new ideas for classes both for children and grownups. Keep a lookout for new schedules for children classes and even ladies night out. Give me an emoji and a suggestion on the type of class you’d enjoy. -
