My has reached over 23K views since it came out on April 30th. I’m beyond grateful.

The mini doc is a prelude to my project, and it’s been amazing to see the impact the work is having on so many people. It’s been a dream project for the last several years, I’m proud I’ve been able to take it as far as I have.

I’ll be doing a live film screening with extended scenes at in Franklin TN on Sunday June 28th from 5pm-8pm. It’s free, come hang! I’ll also have loose prints up as well as hiker stories available for folks to read. DM me for the invite link.

NASHVILLE! Join me for the official Nashville screening of my ILFORD PHOTO (Official Page) documentary, "Laura E Partain - A Photographer's Journey on the Appalachian Trail"

We'll have a project sneak peak including printed photographs and stories available to view and read, live ambient pedal steel from Luke Schneider, as well as drinks and snacks. Join us from 5PM to 6:30PM for live music and the sneak peak of the project, and the film screening at 7PM.

Join Photographer and author Sarah Jones Decker Photography (author of The Appalachian Trail: Backcountry Shelters, Lean-Tos, and Huts) and I for an hour long conversation on the power of using photography to capture the Appalachian Trail. Sarah and I will draw from our thru hiking experiences as well as our work in photography, what led us to thru hiking, and how we ultimately made bodies of work that captured a special moment in the history of the trail.
