Tonight was one for the books.
Just when I think I’ve exhausted all my Louisiana contacts another meaningful connection comes through out of nowhere. My first Job was at Deangelos on bluebonnet in Baton Rouge Louisiana in the shopping center by my family neighborhood, I was 17 and a togo hostess (let’s be real - basically assistant to the assistant to a waitress LOL) and Tanty Avant was my first boss, kid you not. This woman taught me what work ethic was. I was honored that she would even think of me to pull off this night, it meant the world to me!!! and let me tell you it was EVERYTHING. Thank you for having Brandon & I document yalls love. Congratulations Tanty & Jeanne!!!! The spring wedding season is ajourned until September for Katie Coffee! Cheers to forever!!!

Hi. It’s Katie here. ✌️ It’s a Monday. I worked till 8pm this evening - it’s like that often times a business owner. As many of you know in a matter of like 3 months I had a baby, moved from New Orleans to Nashville, moved into another rent house while we search for a forever home, rehomed one of our pups, and basically I’m rebranding/settling into focusing more on wedding photography after 8+ years of business. I guess if I was decent at articulating my words then I’d be a writer, but then I wouldn’t have this photo career now would I? 😘 I guess what I’m trying to say is life is fabulous, hard, beautiful, sad, joyful, sweet, bitter - I feel all at once, and sometimes I feel not at all…but then there is the moment of the present. A great hero of mine once said life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop & look around once in A while, you could miss it. Ferris Bueller said that. So, my suggestion to you guys is to TAKE a a photo! It literally will last longer. 🔥✌️💯 love you guys.
