Her portrait work appears in in publications including Vogue, Paper Magazine, Rolling Stone, GQ, Pitchfork and Billboard Magazines,, and she has created publicity and album cover photography for Sony, EMI, Rounder, and numerous other record labels. She graduated from Pepperdine University in 2008 with a double major in Creative Writing/Communications and Business, while spending her spare time in
the analog darkroom with British portrait photographer Jill Furmanovsky (National Portrait Gallery and Rock Archive) in Florence, Italy. Upon her return back to the U.S. she focused her energy to the digital darkroom, learning commercial lighting techniques and complete workflow processes in the James Hickey Fashion Studio in Los Angeles, CA. In 2008 photographer Baron Wolman, world renowned as Rolling Stone Magazine’s 1st chief photographer & photo editor, found Anna when she was 18 and hired her as his assistant, archiving and traveling internationally for meetings and gallery openings. Baron has remained Anna’s mentor, friend, and close confidant. Now an established commercial photographer herself, she often appears on photography panels, galleries and showcases at SXSW, PDN, United Photo Industries in NY, Seattle, San Francisco and Nashville, sharing the mic with such industry leaders like Baron Wolman, Bob Gruen, John Varvatos, Lynn Goldsmith, BP Fallon, Julie Grahame. Last year, Anna began working with Lytro as one of 5 photographers across the U.S. shooting their initial launch campaign.
