Headshots are more versatile than people think.

Lighting, expression, posture, and even wardrobe all change the message a photo sends. A headshot can feel polished and authoritative… or relaxed, approachable, and personal.

Mike wanted images that felt true to who he is. And honestly… who says a headshot has to be in a blazer or button down?

The black t-shirt completely changed the energy of the session — modern, confident, approachable, and real.

Had a great time photographing Jenna recently. She was seriously awesome to work with and made the whole session easy from start to finish.

Jenna is one of the newest members of the Key Nova team, and it was great being able to help her create a headshot that feels professional, approachable, and true to who she is. That is always the goal.

Some sessions mean a little more, and this was one of them.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Andrew Gillespy, whose career reflects years of military service, leadership, and meaningful work in naval engineering and education. Being able to work with people of that caliber is something I never take for granted.

I’m especially thankful to partner with Portraits for Patriots. As a veteran, I know how important it is to continue finding ways to serve and give back. Being able to support fellow veterans and their next chapter through this work is something I’m truly proud of.
