Senior season is coming and I am SO ready.

This session on Navarre Beach is one of my favorites. There's something about the way the sky transforms into soft pastels at golden hour that creates the most dreamy, cotton candy backdrop for senior portraits.

Class of 2026, if you haven't booked your senior session yet, now is the time. Spring light on Navarre Beach is about to be incredible and I have a few spots left before summer gets crazy.
Your senior photos should look like YOU. Not stiff, not awkward, not your mom's idea of posed (sorry moms, love you). Just you being yourself in one of the most beautiful places in Florida.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Whether it happened today, last month, or five years ago, if someone put a ring on it and you haven't booked your engagement session yet... this is your sign.

Navarre Beach. Golden hour. You and your person. That's it. That's the plan.

I'm currently booking spring and summer engagement sessions and honestly, Navarre Beach in the spring is *chef's kiss*. The water starts getting that deep emerald color, the crowds are still low, and the light is absolutely perfect.

I mean... the SKY.

Sometimes Navarre Beach just decides to go completely insane with the colors and all you can do is keep clicking.

These two wanted a sunset session and the Gulf absolutely delivered. Purple, pink, gold, that reflection in the wet sand. I still can't get over this one. This is what happens when you trust the golden hour on this stretch of beach.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I just want to say: if you have someone who makes your heart do the thing, book the session. Get the photos. Hang them on your wall. Years from now you'll look at them and remember exactly how it felt.

This is the thing about engagement sessions on Navarre Beach. You give two people who are crazy about each other that white sand and emerald water, and the photos basically take themselves.

I barely had to direct these two. They were laughing, dancing around, completely in their own world. And that's exactly how engagement photos should feel. Not stiff. Not posed. Just you and your person being ridiculously in love with the Gulf of Mexico as your backdrop.

Valentine's Day is this weekend and if you just got that ring (or you're about to get it... I see you), engagement sessions are one of my favorite things to photograph. Let's make it happen.

One of the biggest questions I get: "What should we wear?"

Here's my honest answer: keep it simple and coordinate, don't match.

This family nailed it. Mama in sage green, dad in a classic white button-up, and their little guy in a rust and white combo that tied it all together. No one is wearing the same thing, but everything flows.

My go-to tips for Navarre Beach sessions:
Stick to soft, muted tones. Think sage, dusty blue, cream, mauve, rust.
Avoid neon, busy patterns, or big logos.
Flowy dresses and linen shirts photograph like a dream on the beach.
Coordinate your kiddo last so they tie the look together.
Skip the shoes. We're on Navarre Beach, not at a board meeting.

Save this for later and send it to whoever needs outfit help before your session. You'll thank me.
