Last night's family/senior split session was so much fun! I LOVE pink flowing dresses! They compliment the movement of the ocean, waves, and last night....the wind was crazy! I always prompt my clients to do things that equate to such real smiles.

Sneak peek I just edited for the freezing sunrise this morning. Considering the 30+ wind and what felt like 47%, they will turn out beautiful. The client told me what she wanted and I worked hard to achieve her vision at 6:45AM this Sunday morning. A hurricane a week ago, now our true taste of early winter.

Finished another pre-hurricane gallery for another beautiful family! Love how every single sunset and session on Navarre Beach is so different, and special in its own way. I make it a point to capture as much variety as I can prompt during my sessions.

What a beyond sweet family/maternity session last night on ! I cannot believe they drove all the way from Gulf Shores, AL to do our session. They were originally going to stay on Navarre Beach, but due to massive power outages on the beach at the time, they shifted gears. I had 6 cancelations due to the storm, and It meant so much to me that they still wanted Navarre Beach for their session (We do have the most beautiful beach and area!)

I feel so bad for all the families that couldn't keep their vacations here. I know vacations mean so much to families to reconnect, recharge, and relax from their busy lives.

We are all trying to recover on the mainland. As for as us, we had an oak tree on our house and 3 days of beyond belief pine tree and oak tree debris everywhere. Finally got power a couple of days ago so I am working hard to finish pre-hurricane session edits today. Navarre is strong with the kindest people, that care for each other and are helping each other out in countless ways.

Sharing a few from a sneak peek I gave them since they drove so far round trip. It was a stunning sunset!

My first "day before a hurricane" proposal session yesterday at 1pm, on ! Yes, conditions were already going downhill in the color of the sky and water, heavy wind and surf. Sea spray is also the worst thing, as it makes the air a cloudy mess. We avoided that by moving on a 1pm start time.

Such a SWEET couple and I LOVED her dress! I wish we would have had a golden sky with blue/emerald waters, but it isn't in the cards for the next couple of days. With photo sessions, professionals know you MUST have good lighting. I always know that.

It's our only live cams and they will go down sometime tonight I'm sure as the storm comes in around 7ish. I use it EVERY day for planning purposes.

Just finished edits on this sweet mini sunrise session from last week. Love these angles! Wasn't a sunrise due to the storms, but still beautiful!

What a BEAUTIFUL sunrise mini session this morning! Loved meeting this sweet couple who wanted some engagement photos. We could not have prayed for better conditions and colors as the sun came up! Colors changed by the second, which I LOVE for variety. 5am wake up call for them and me. It is always worth the early rise! Sharing a couple of what will be a beautiful gallery for them when finished. A day of editing ahead of me and hope to get 3 galleries done. Blessed & busy!

Been a BUSY and blessed week for me, Sea Glass Photography of Navarre! Last night's mini session was a surprise proposal. We were all planned to meet in the Sea Shore. Once I got down there early it was already raining. Radar showed a small, red cell moving exactly over that spot. So....communicating with my client he stated he "cannot wait another day to propose", so I pivoted EAST about 3 miles down the beach, and magic! So, so sweet of a couple. He wanted my message in a bottle, so I had one ready with his message inside. Skies were very heavy blue, but we were successful!

LOVED seeing another returning client from a year ago! What's a sunrise mini 30 minute session like with Sea Glass Photography of Navarre? Well, let's just say I know how to get clients to have fun, even at 6:30AM! It's fall, ya'll! And thanks to a wonderful client from a couple of nights ago that recognized me from the pier and sent me some shots of myself in action.

I never look good...but my job is to make sure you do!! Thanks Patrick for the pics of me!!
