While photographing this ghost crab sitting atop his hole he suddenly, but casually, walked to one side. A few seconds later a smaller (I’m assuming female) ghost crab crawls out. As the smaller one walks away, the larger crab shuffled himself back to his original position atop the hole. I’ve never seen them share a hole like this… hmmm, I wonder what they were doing in there? 💕😉

“Walking with Carnivores”
I never thought I would see any of my photos on the cover of a very prestigious magazine in the UK called “The Garden” by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). They wrote a very interesting article about the pitcher plants of Alabama. I wish I could share it with you but don’t have the means to do so… anyway, it’s pretty cool to see my photos published from “across the pond.”

It’s really nice to see the sea oats finally coming in. Like so many things, they were a little late this year. I love taking photos of our beautiful white beach(scapes), but they’re just not the same without the sea oats gently swaying in the wind.

The gulf side of Navarre Beach tends to take center stage, but sometimes the sound side is just as beautiful!
