I had just left my client after I did her hair and makeup when she called me hoping I could turn around to take her photos. Her original photographer canceled minutes before her scheduled session due to the weather. But after 30 mins after her original session time the skies opened up so we could get her photos in. I always try to carry my camera with me because life happens and I want to make sure I’m available. I’m so grateful I was able to turn back around and get the job done. I’ll post photos tomorrow. 🥰

I love active children—the ones with big personalities, endless energy, and their own ideas about how a photo session should go!
If your little one wants to run, play games, dig in the sand, make funny faces, or tell me "no" when I ask for a smile, that's completely okay. I won't get frustrated. In fact, I expect it.
I've raised four children of my own, so trust me when I say I have plenty of patience. Childhood isn't meant to be perfectly posed, and neither are my sessions.
So take a deep breath and be patient too. We'll get the photos we need. We'll laugh, play, explore, and go with the flow. Because the truth is, the very best photos are usually the ones we never planned at all—the genuine moments full of personality, connection, and joy.

And also this family was the cutest ever!!! I LOVE their simple outfit choices. We pulled this session off with a 3 hour notice for a pre-sunset session. We can do anything, last minute and all!

My sessions come with a 2–3 week turnaround time, and while I can often deliver sooner, I'm a one-woman show wearing all the hats that come with running a photography business. Between shooting, editing, answering inquiries, and navigating life's unexpected twists and turns, there's always plenty happening behind the scenes.
This client actually texted me at 8:30 PM hoping for a 6:00 AM session the very next morning. And if you've followed me for any length of time, you already know my answer was yes. Last-minute sessions are kind of my thing, and I'll do everything I can to make it happen.
These turned out absolutely gorgeous. The weather gave us the best of both worlds—sunshine and clouds working together to create beautiful, dreamy light. It's honestly one of my favorite combinations. And as if perfectly timed, the rain started falling the moment I hopped back into my car.
Sometimes everything just works out exactly as it should.

Just left a beautiful sunrise wedding. I did her makeup then photography. Got up bright and early at 3am to get my girl ready for that morning light.💙💙💙💙
