The Boykos!!!! 🤍🤍🤍😭😭😭

Truly the most stunning day with two of the sweetest souls and their friends and families. The weather was absolutely perfect, the energy was everything, and emotions were high, filled with great love and deep grief all at once.

One of the hardest parts of life is moving through the milestones we always imagined certain people would be here for. Paige carried both the joy and the weight of this day with such incredible grace and strength, honoring her father’s recent passing in the most meaningful ways. And beside her, Mike was such a steady presence, both soft and strong.

The way these two move through life together was so special to witness. There was so much beauty in this day, the joy, laughter, tenderness... but even more meaning underneath it all.

I couldn’t be more honored to have been there to capture it as it unfolded. All my love to the Boykos!!! 🤍

There is something sacred about being invited into the beginning of a marriage.

Beyond the flowers, the fashion, the carefully chosen details and all the beauty and magic that comes with a wedding day, there is a union being made. Two people choosing one another, surrounded by the people who have shaped them, witnessed by generations before them and, someday, generations after.

I never want to lose sight of that.

As your photographer, I’m not simply there to do a job. I’m there to honor what is happening in front of me. To notice the hands held a little tighter, the weight of a parent’s embrace, the quiet moments before the vows, the joy that fills a room when two families become one.

Because these photographs will eventually become more than photographs from a beautiful day. They become part of your family’s history. A legacy.

Marriage is sacred. Being trusted to document its beginning is something I will never take lightly. ❤️

Beautiful photographs are the bare minimum. Knowing how to create them consistently, instinctively, and without pulling you out of your own experience is where expertise matters.

For the past 17 years, I’ve photographed weddings in every kind of light, weather, timeline and circumstance. I’ve learned when to step in and direct, when to anticipate what’s about to happen, and when the best thing I can do is disappear into the room and let it unfold.

That experience means I’m not figuring it out on your wedding day. I’m reading the light, the people, the energy and the moments before they happen. I'm making hundreds of small decisions so you never have to think about any of them.

Space to create. What giving your photography team an hour of detail & flat lay time looks like. These may look like quick moments, but they require designing and curation, switching things up, trial and error, and true creative juices flowing. It simply can't happen "quickly" or "in a few minutes" — and that's how I prefer a day to flow from start to finish. Breathing room. Time to actually flow and not force. It really sets the tone for the day, and begins the storytelling. We loveee that. ❤️🫰🏼
