On my 51st birthday, 🎂 I can say this: I still feel about 28 at heart, but my eyes have officially entered their full-time glasses era.

𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏’𝒕 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉?

This family lives in a town near the water, and this is a shoreline they return to often—for ordinary days spent in the waves, collecting shells, and simply being together.

On the day of our session, a storm was rolling in fast. There were plenty of texts, a few “should we?” moments… and then we went for it.

The wind was wild, and the sky shifted from sunny blue to layered shades of pink and purple. Over the next hour, something really special unfolded—elegant attire at the beach, a walk through the sand to see who could find the most beautiful shells, and the kind of laughter and excitement that comes when the weather is about to change.

The skies opened up just as we were all driving home. Perfect timing. 👍😊

This session feels like a long time ago! Back in September, when everything was warm, green, and lush, I met this sweet family at the park for their first session with me. Two adorable little ones, lots of movement, games of hide and seek, and the kind of easy energy that makes my job so fun.

I often tell clients that a family session with me is really just like meeting up with a friend for a walk in the park… ( a friend who just happens to bring a really nice camera 😉)

I recently delivered this gallery to a family who just welcomed their first baby girl — the sweetest little bundle, adored by her three big brothers. 💗

As I am wrapping up my year (the former numbers-cruncher in me can’t help but look at the stats!), I realized I have over 50 families I haven’t shared yet. 😮 The best advice I’ve heard when you find yourself in a situation like this? Start with the most recent and work backward… so here we are!

As Thanksgiving approaches, I'm feeling extra thankful for my longtime family clients — like this wonderful crew. I’ve been photographing them since their oldest son was just a baby, and watching their family grow has been such a joy.

During their session a few weeks ago, a flock of birds flew overhead right as we were taking their family photo — it was one of those perfectly unexpected, unscripted moments that I just love about family photography.

Thank you, thank you to all of my clients this year! It means to much that you trust me year after year to capture your most important moments and milestones.

🎓 This year has been full of amazing senior sessions — and I’ve loved every single one. Having just watched my own son graduate last year, I truly understand all the emotions these seniors (and their parents!) are feeling.

It’s such a special, bittersweet season — the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next. I feel honored to capture this moment in time for each of them.

I take so much pride in creating beautiful portraits that reflect who they are right now — full of hope, excitement, and possibility!

There’s something so fun & magical about capturing a family in their own space. Recently, I had the privilege of photographing this sweet family of three (well, four if you count their adorable fur baby!) in their home in Needham.

Meet little Sophie, who at just 3 months old, is already showing so much personality.

This in-home newborn session, was filled with special moments—especially when both parents, talented pianists, played beautiful music during our session. It’s these unique details that make every session so unique and personal, and I absolutely love how no two are ever the same.

Mom and Dad both commented that Sophie has beautiful long fingers and they hope she will also play the piano one day! 🎶

What an honor to capture these precious memories for such a sweet family!
