Sneak Peek!

I had the opportunity to photograph her older sister a couple of years ago, and I instantly recognized the similarities in their gorgeous smiles and natural posing. As our session was wrapping up and we were heading out, we walked right by this butterfly. I couldn't help but capture a photo of her with it. A butterfly symbolizes transformation, growth, and change. I thought it very fitting for the moment, representing all the things ahead of her beyond her senior year.

Sneak Peek!

Once in a while you meet a senior who is just a complete natural in front of the camera, and the session with her and mom ended up feeling like a creative session among friends. This, everyone, is exactly why I ask to see the outfits when planning your senior's session. I want to put your senior in just the right backdrop for each outfit to make them POP. Her contagious smile and dimples just made her stand out that much more. I absolutely love that they had a request too, an inspiration photo of a childhood pic they wanted to incorporate behind her on a projector. ❤

Sneak Peek!

It's senior season, and I'm loving all the seniors coming my way! It really has become my favorite kind of session. It lets me take their interests, preferences, clothing styles, hobbies and get creative to make it my own work of art.

Sneak Peek!

Had to share some of my faves from this session. So thankful for yet another senior that makes these sessions so easy and fun, and finding a new location spot that I got to use that evening that has quickly become a new favorite.

Also to add, I got back from vacation early this wk and I've been working on sneak peeks and finishing galleries, so stay tuned for more sneak peeks to come this wknd and for more galleries going out.

I’ve been doing these since I opened my photography business 6 years ago, and every year they’ve grown a little bigger and a little more special. Last year was my most successful year yet, and I’m expecting these to sell out again!

And honestly? One of my favorite things is seeing the same kids come back year after year and watching them grow. ❤️

These aren’t your typical school pictures.

✨ You get a full 5 minutes — so there’s actually time to get your child’s hair straight, fix their collar, make sure their smile is ready, and get them settled before they’re whisked away.

✨ 3 edited images are included, and one is ALWAYS a classic headshot.

✨ I bring school-themed props like vintage books and an old-fashioned desk for the other images, giving you something much more unique than the standard school-photo backdrop. Past photo includes the desk I’ll be using this year, as I always alternate desks/props each year.

✨ Perfect for homeschool families who don’t get traditional school pictures.

✨ Perfect for kids who need a retake but can’t count on being available for — or getting the result they want from — retake day.

Re-Posting because apparently my little corner of the internet has officially grown enough to attract its first trolls and spam. Six years and this is a first, so I guess I should consider myself lucky!

Another Sneak Peek!
You may recognize this beauty from an earlier posted sneak peek of a senior gallery. The sweet boyfriend who was celebrating his birthday by coming along and being her hype guy and handpicking a wildflower bouquet for her during her session.... well he just happened to be dressed perfect for some spontaneous couples photos. Since we had such magical golden hour vibes going already, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go into couples session mode even if just for a moment.

Love how the Andy's Room themed sessions just end up being a fun playtime for kids. This little guy just LOVED my toys, especially the ones that made noise, we got such amazing natural smiles from him.

I had the honor of photographing another senior in this family, after meeting her brother for his session two years ago. Love that I'm seeing so many siblings this year. Its the most flattering compliment of my work. They enjoyed their senior session experience so much the first time, that they trust me to give their other child(ren) a similar experience. ❤️

Sneak Peek!

We could not have asked for a more gorgeous golden hour for this senior session, and I could not have asked for a more photogenic subject. She even came with her sweet boyfriend who picked a wildflower bouquet while we got started, which we were able to incorporate into some of the session. I even convinced him to join her for some perfect golden hour images, sneak peek of those still to come!

Thank you for your patience everyone, I was doing what I could to help the tornado victims, as well as pick up the pieces of what remained in my demolished storage unit since the devastation hit. I'm sending out more sneak peaks daily, and galleries to follow soon for those late July sessions.

💛 When you support a small business, an actual person does a little happy dance.

But for me, it’s about so much more than just booking a session.

That’s one of my favorite parts of what I do.

I love staying connected with my families long after their session is over. I love hearing how my seniors are doing after graduation, what they’ve been up to, where life has taken them, and what exciting things are ahead.

I love watching younger siblings grow up, seeing them come back for their own milestones, and getting to be a small part of their family’s journey over the years.

Those connections mean so much to me.
