✨Mom Life Monday✨

I spent this Easter weekend hosting family and creating magic memories for my babies! What did you do for Easter weekend???

On the business side of things I got a message from a sweet client asking about her gallery, she’s creating a book from her session and the site she was ordering from had a 50% off sale going on that ended today, her gallery was not completed yet. I was not spending my holiday weekend working on someone’s gallery 🙄…
JUST KIDDING!! I went right to work to finish her gallery because I wanted her to get that deal!

Running a business, being a mom and just overall being an understanding human being, things are expensive, so if you run into that situation and you don’t have your gallery back yet please don’t hesitate to let me know! I’m happy to get your photos back reasonably sooner that the turn around time!

✨Wedding Wednesday✨

Today wedding Wednesday is about my most recent wedding/first wedding of the 2026 season!

I am not kidding when I say this wedding was filled with so much love! The love from family and friends my couple received was overwhelming!

From the family praying over the couple during the ceremony to the carefully thought out words during the speeches (from the WHOLE wedding party I might add!) to everyone lining up to talk and congratulate the couple!

About 1 year ago I asked Alexis and Tristan to do a session with me so I could work with a new lens and a new space, this was the first time they had been to the Shipley Schoolhouse , they loved the space and knew it was going to be a top contender for their wedding venue whenever they got engaged!

Well about a year after they came to the schoolhouse with me they came back and said their I Do’s 🥹

If you’re looking for your wedding venue I highly recommend the Shipley Schoolhouse! And I highly recommend using me as your photographer 😉

✨Mom-Life Monday✨

Last week, I didn’t post the content I planned.
I didn’t show up the way I told myself and you I would with weekly promised content.
And honestly? I felt like I failed.
I kept thinking… why didn’t I just post?
But when I look back on the week, I see something different.
I see park days, long walks, and bakery dates with my kids, I see time I won’t get back.
I’m reminding myself that I didn’t fail, I just chose to be present.
Balance doesn’t always look like doing it all.
Sometimes it looks like pouring into my business one week, and pouring into my home the next.
I’m learning to give myself grace in both seasons.
Because at the end of the day, I’m not just running a business… I’m raising a family too.
And that matters just as much

So a reminder for today:
You don’t have to do everything perfectly to be doing a great job.
Whether you left the house to work or worked from home, stayed home, chased toddlers all day, didn’t open your lap top or socials or just made it through… that counts.

Motherhood + life + everything in between is a lot…
and you’re handling it!

I love all of my couples and when they’re your friends it makes their wedding day so much sweeter! Seeing Alexis and Tristan get married was such a sweet day, this day was full of soooo much love and so many tears from their family and friends (including me🤧)

✨ Mom-Life Monday ✨

Today I had a video call with a bride. I had my older two kids down for quiet time/nap time and my baby content in her swing. A little ways into the call, my baby started to fuss so she got to join me for the rest of the meeting.

This is part of what running a business as a mom looks like. I try my best to get everyone settled and quiet so it’s completely quiet on calls with my brides, but sometimes that’s just not how it goes.

So if you ever hear little voices playing in the background or see me holding my baby during a video call… that’s just real life for a mom running her own business. And honestly, I think it makes me more real and relatable. My business is built right alongside my family, and that’s something I’m really proud of.
