"The Garden Inspector"
Sunflowers are probably my favourite flower, they remind me of my grandfather who somehow managed to grow sunflowers higher than his house. This year I planted a whole bunch of them dotted around the garden in whatever bit of soil I could find. And over the last few weeks they've been opening up, one by one, like a greeting from summer.

Along with the daily sunflower check, I've also been doing a daily snail check as they too seem to ~really~ enjoy the multisensory experience of being in the garden and I've been gently relocating them to somewhere else so that I can save a few more of my little plants.

Lupine gifts!

So excited to share this image as when I saw it on the back of the camera a few days ago I just had to get it edited

The lupin flower stands for imagination, admiration, and overall happiness. Whether given as a gift or grown in your garden, the lupin brings the energy of inner strength to recover from trauma. When given as a gift, it tells the receiver that a positive outlook leads to the discovery of new opportunities.

I am sending you all some lupins as who couldn’t use some positive outlooks and new discoveries!!

Did you know that today is National Camera Day? Now you do!

I got my first digital camera from Ebay after coming across Flickr and becoming fascintated with the creative and fun images I saw people creating. That camera was a Canon EOS Rebel and I used the heck out of it. I've been using Sony cameras for the last 10 years and I love them, but it truly doesn't matter what camera you're using, just that you enjoy using it!

My cameras become an extension of myself, I can use them without even looking at what I'm doing, and I'm almost always tempted to bring one along with me wherever I go.
