Hey y’all! I’m Jessica! Welcome to my hair page! I’ve been a licensed hairstylist since 2009 and the proud owner of Southern Charm Salon & Co.

Since opening my salon, I’ve had the privilege of helping so many amazing clients feel confident and beautiful! I have also been blessed to have the best team of girls to work with🩷

What started as me choosing the shortest program that the college had to offer(ya girl was ready to get married but education came first😬), turned into a love for people and making them feel better about themselves. A little bit vulnerable here but as someone who knows the struggle can be real when it comes to mental health, I’ve made it a personal goal to help as many clients as I can…feel seen, heard, cared for, and loved.

This is your friendly reminder to schedule the portrait session. If you're worried about the stress of it. Don't. Worry about the fleeting moments you'll miss documenting. Worry about the legacy you're leaving behind that no one has properly captured.

One day - you'll go through and look back and you'll just be so thankful you did it. You'll long have forgotten any "stress" from the planning.

(BTW when you work with - there is NO stress. I help you plan the outfits, I help you design the frames, I schedule your hair and makeup and even Botox if needed!)

Just schedule the shoot. It's worth it. I promise.

Seriously. I'm sorry your last photographer was awkward AF and stayed silent like they were raw do***ng it on a 2 hour flight. I can guarantee one thing: if we go overtime it's probably cuz we was yapping together. 🤏🏼

G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S... WE'RE MAKING PHOTOGRAPHY GLAMOROUS AGAIN. Some time ago, Photography went from something creative to something rote. It became "I just need headshots for this". Or "I want pictures every year in the same spot". I love that. I love to create though also.

Why do you need a "purpose" for photography? Maybe your purpose is to just treat yourself a day that's all about you. Pull out those fancy dresses, fit on those pointy shoes, get your hair done. get your makeup done. (BTW, my hair makeup artist will do that for you and @ crushed it on this one).

You're allowed to feel beautiful. You're allowed to feel handsome. You're allowed to feel great about yourself - no matter what part of your journey you are in.

Step in to the studio, allow me to guide you, and let's CREATE some magic.
