I was on a final timeline call with one of my recent wedding couples and they asked me something that I wasn’t expecting yet was so happy to answer:

“If there was one advice you could give for the wedding day, what would it be?”

I simply answered: do what you want to do, despite anyone else’s opinions.

And it’s an advice I wholeheartedly stand behind. Your wedding day is yours, you and your partners’. Not:

- your parents’
- any other family member
- to impress social media
- to “win” best wedding of the year
- for some rando to impress
- for your vendors

but for you. You and your partner.

Social media has its pros and cons, it leads us to believe that the trends are something we have to follow to remain visible. It allows us to compare our vision with someone else’s. It creates unrealistic expectations when it comes to budget. Yes, a $25k wedding budget is going to look DRASTICALLY different than a $500k one. It just is.

But that’s when we have to come back to ourselves, ground our thoughts and truly ask - is this us wanting to keep up with what we’re told we should do or does this truly align with us?

I will be your no. 1 advocate throughout the process but especially on your wedding day. I will make sure you are being true to yourselves despite the million opinions throughout the day.

I’m here to keep your day as authentic as you are and allow it to be an extension of your personalities. No one else’s. Promise. 🤍

Months of planning, minutes of dealing with nerves while they wait to see their partner, details being a thing of the past - everything flows to that moment and it’s one of my favorite parts in the day to document.
