"The Bluebonnet House"
One of the most photographed houses in Texas. The past two years this house had no or very few bluebonnets. Some years this house has put on a show (I've heard)! This was my first year visiting this location and what a location it is. The property has a couple good angles, but there is another angle that screams Texas but I figured I would begin with this beauty.
It rained most of my drive and I forgot that the sun set an hour later so I was super early. This gave me time to find the perfect shot. The "sunset" was absolutely nothing. Once the sun went down the hues became brighter and for 20 minutes we had country springtime magic. Bluebonnets, old buildings, framed in trees while the sun is setting is the perfect piece of Texas.
